We help customers across energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and restoration treat nature not as a compliance hurdle but as an asset. We've moved from a sensing layer to a reasoning layer, and our commercial motion is working. Now we're doubling down.

As our first person in HR, your goal is to strengthen the team that builds the future of biodiversity management. We are looking for an outstanding individual who will help us define the next chapter of our growth path. Your responsibility will be to find and hire top talents for roles in across departments. You will be the face and voice of Hula in the job market and we are looking for a self starter who wants to grow into a role with wider responsibilities as the company grows. While recruiting is the most urgent need right now, the role will be a mix of HR generalist & recruiting.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Run the full recruiting cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and contracts
• Actively source outstanding talents across LinkedIn and other channels - especially for tech and engineering roles
• Partner with founders and team leads to understand hiring needs and define role profiles
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future roles

People Operations

• Own onboarding and offboarding processes for a smooth, welcoming experience
• Manage HR administration: contracts, working students, documentation, and tooling
• Be the first point of contact for employees on people-related topics
