As a Founder's Associate at Hula Earth, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting the founders in driving the vision and mission of our startup forward. Your role will be multifaceted, requiring a combination of strategic thinking, operational support, and proactive problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the founders, gaining invaluable experience in entrepreneurship, technology, sustainability, and biodiversity.

In the last 50 years alone, we have seen a 70% decline in biodiversity and there is a massive funding shortfall to halt biodiversity loss. One bottleneck is the lack of data needed to verify the impact of nature investments as traditional data sources either not accurate enough or not scalable.

At Hula, we pioneer tech-driven solutions for biodiversity conservation and sustainable investments. We specialize in building the data layer for nature investments, blending satellite insights with our proprietary IoT Sensor network. Our mission is to make nature investments accessible, actionable, and scalable through technology.

At the end of 2024, we secured a €1.6 million pre-seed round – backed by some of Europe’s top investors, including Point Nine Capital and renowned business angels such as Lawrence Leuschner (TIER Mobility), Kilian Kaminski (refurbed), and Tobias Rieker (Markt-Pilot). With this support we’re now focused on increasing traction and preparing the company for a strong Seed round.

✅ Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and refine the overall strategic direction of the company. Assist in setting short-term and long-term goals, and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
  2. Operational Support: Take ownership of various operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
  3. Project Management: Assist in managing key projects from inception to completion. This involves creating project plans, coordinating team efforts, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  4. Communications: Draft and edit internal and external communications. Help maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  5. Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, customers, and vendors. Represent the company professionally in various networking events and meetings.
  6. Strategic Initiatives: Support the exploration and execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company's mission and objectives. This may involve conducting feasibility studies, developing business cases, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
